Oat Porridge

Elf is abit under the weather lately. Still recovering from a bout of flu.
So, I made him some Oat Porridge for lunch.
This will fill him up a little & last him till tea break.

This porridge is very versatile; you can put in what ever you like.
Normally, I serve this for breakfast.

Oat Porridge

What U need:

  • ½ cup Water
  • 1 cup Milk
  • ½ cup Rolled oats
  • 1 tbsp Brown sugar
  • 1 Chopped apple
  • 2 tbsp Raisins
  • A pinch of salt
  • Chocolate sauce (optional)


  1. Bring water to boil, add oats & cook till tender.
  2. Add milk & continue to cook for another 3mins.
  3. Add brown sugar, apple, raisins and simmer for a few mins.
  4. When you get to the consistency you like, add salt & stir.
  5. Serve hot with some chocolate sauce drizzled on top.
