Bacon Potato Cake
This is another easy to make family favorite. Great for brunch…or afternoon snack.
Or serve it on a bed of salad...it’s a meal on it’s own.
Even though potato is the main ingredient here…the result is still relatively chewy. U may add any meat U like…but from my experience, bacon tastes best.
Bacon Potato Cake
What U need:
- 3 large Potatoes
- ½ tsp Salt
- ½ cup Fresh cream
- 200g Bacon-chopped
- 1 large Onion-cubed
- 120g Flour
- 1tsp Baking soda
- ½ cup Milk
Method:
- Skin & cube potatoes, boil till cooked.
- Mashed potatoes & add salt.
- Add fresh cream & mix well….leave aside to cool.
- Next fry the bacon till crispy.
- With the same pan, fry the onion till soft.
- Add flour & baking soda to the mashed potatoes & mix well.
- Mix in the bacon & onion.
- Add milk & mix until paste like.
- Heat pan with butter.
- Make a small ball of potato & drop into heated pan & flatten slightly to create a nice round cake.
- Serve warm…
