Corn Bread
Familiar & comforting.
This little bread makes a great snack and yet they’re decadent enough to kick start any morning. Original recipe here.
What U need:
- 150g Flour
- 1 cup Cornmeal
- 100g Sugar
- ½ tsp Baking powder
- ½ tsp Baking soda
- ½ tsp Salt
- 1 egg - lightly beaten
- 1 cup Sour cream
- 1/3 cup Milk
Method:
- In a large bowl, combine the flour, cornmeal, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
- Combine the egg, sour cream, milk and butter; stir into dry ingredients just until moistened.
- Pour into a greased 8-in. square baking dish or muffin cups.
- Bake at 200°C for 20-25 mins or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean.
- Serve warm.
